Effective 15 September 2026

MULTIROADS has no player accounts. Most preferences and driving records stay in your browser. Multiplayer needs temporary session data, and the deployed site uses aggregate traffic analytics.

Data stored on your device

Your browser stores your chosen display name, controls, graphics, audio and interface settings, recent session choices, career totals, lap and sector records, personal-best paths, ghosts and racing-line inputs. Session storage also supports safe reload and recovery. This data is not a cloud save and does not follow you to another browser or device. Clearing this site's browser data removes it.

Multiplayer data

When you create or join a room, the game sends the display name you chose, room name or code, session configuration, selected admitted car and track, chat messages, and live driving, timing and contact state to the multiplayer service. Other players in that room can see the relevant name, chat and race state. The game server keeps room state in memory to run the session and does not use a gameplay database for player profiles or records. Room state is discarded when the room is disposed.

Do not use your legal name or send private information in a display name, room name or chat message.

Analytics and service logs

The deployed site uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate page-view statistics. Vercel describes this service as cookie-free and says its analytics data points can include the page path, filtered query parameters, referrer, coarse location, operating system, browser and device type. MULTIROADS does not send custom gameplay events through this integration. See Vercel's Web Analytics privacy documentation.

Vercel and Render host the website and multiplayer service. Like other hosting providers, they may process connection details and operational logs such as request path, status, time, IP-derived information and service diagnostics under their own policies. These logs help operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.

Sharing and retention

MULTIROADS does not sell player data. Data is shared only with the hosting and analytics providers needed to deliver and operate the game, or when required by law. Local browser data remains until you clear it. Live room state lasts for the room. Provider logs and aggregate analytics follow the providers' configured retention periods.
